Need Help Deciding on a Bike
I'm heading off to college next year and I want to have a fixie/SS with me. I have an old huffy but I don't feel like it's worth converting. I'm on a budget so my options are limited.
I'm 5'11" Here's the list: http://www.bikesdirect.com/products/...cane/track.htm http://www.bikesdirect.com/products/...essenger_x.htm http://nh.craigslist.org/bik/1737924867.html maine.craigslist.org/bik/1746695109.html http://boston.craigslist.org/bmw/bik/1740612590.html The only one I haven't heard from yet is the Sun Origin 8. The 58 from Seacoast needs a freewheel but the hub is flip flop. The Raleigh looks like it might be my number 1, it's about a 6hr (round trip) drive for me but it's okay. The Wellesley one would cost more for a flip flop set but that's what I want. I'm 5'11" so kinda confused if the 53 will be too small or the 59 too big? Trying to save money for a messenger bag and a lock. |

since you don't know abut what size you should be on I would suggest you go to a bike shop, try out their bikes, ask a lot of questions, and get a better idea of what size bike you should be on.

I've ridden my 56 road bike and it felt pretty good.
maybe a 54 would feel a bit better. i did some weird math that i was told to do involving part of my inseam or something and i got a 52cm or 53cm would be right? |
once you figure out sizing. ill give you my 2 cents on the Motobecane Track(first link)
my friend ordered it in black and it looks and rides great its a 46/15 havent tried others but just know the first one wont let you down! |
i have a feeling i'll probably just end up with the Track.
