Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Cannondale CAAD5 track - what's it worth?

Came across someone selling a CAAD5 track frameset.

Not familiar with the history behind this frame. What year is it from? I'm not sure if their asking price of $400 is a good deal or not.

Even if it's a good deal, not sure that I'd go for it, since I probably can't afford it right now, but I figured it's worth at least knowing.

Got word that it's basically an older version of the Capo and $400 is steep for it. $300 would be more like it. Meh. Thought it was something a little more "rare" with decent resale value. Kind of lost interest.
