Help with new cranks and bb (sram omnium)
I've had a set of sram omniums laying around for a while now and I've finally got the time to install them. I have an 05 pista and right now it has the stock sugino bb and shimano 600 cranks. My wheels are deep vs laced to formulas.
With that said, I was never the best at figuring out chainlines. On the two bikes I've built myself, I pretty much winged it and both chainlines came out ok (using the inside ring on one of them). I know I need a new bb since the cranks have external bearings. I don't need anything super nice, just something that will work with my setup. How about this guy? http://www.jensonusa.com/store/produ...Bb+Cupset.aspx So will the English 68/73mm work with my bike/wheelset? Any advice would be appreciated. |
there is only one BB for that crank. The one you highlighted @ jenson is the one. The english model.
