Help with new cranks and bb (sram omnium)

I've had a set of sram omniums laying around for a while now and I've finally got the time to install them. I have an 05 pista and right now it has the stock sugino bb and shimano 600 cranks. My wheels are deep vs laced to formulas.

With that said, I was never the best at figuring out chainlines. On the two bikes I've built myself, I pretty much winged it and both chainlines came out ok (using the inside ring on one of them). I know I need a new bb since the cranks have external bearings. I don't need anything super nice, just something that will work with my setup. How about this guy? https://www.jensonusa.com/store/produ...Bb+Cupset.aspx

So will the English 68/73mm work with my bike/wheelset?

Any advice would be appreciated.

there is only one BB for that crank. The one you highlighted @ jenson is the one. The english model.

it's a system called BB30. i have a set of elita's on my road bike that use the same bb.

your chainline will be fine. maybe not perfect, but fine.

The Omniums are not BB30 standard.

Enduro and Chris King make BB's for the Omnium's.
