what is this little rubber thing? i see alot of fixed gear bikes with them attached in different areas of the bike. I have seen most either on the top tube or seat post, In this picture it is purple and on the fork. Whats is for?:) |

it's a knog frog. it's a ****ty little 1-LED light that hipsters use to be able to say "i'm safe, i have a light" while still not actually being able to see anything.

You're right! i looked up a knog and thats it. I kept trying to search for a mini tube patch kit or something. That is what i thought it was. A mini patch kit in a casing like that would be cool.

you could VERY easily modify one to carry a glueless patch, as long as the patch is the size of a 2032 battery.
however, knog is a really cool company with awesome designs and the knog BOOMER is DEFINITELY going to be my next non-component/metal attachment bike purchase. i need a streamliner road DLX for my road bike first. |
