I've never put my ass on one but a lot of people swear by that saddle.

Haagenize 06-18-10 04:44 PM

for $21, theres no saddle you can beat

I've had mine for a year now and still enjoy it

Looks like they are on backorder though
Wiggle was your best bet but I had to buy it off some guy in londonfgs

I love mine! I've only had it for a month but its real comfy. Doesn't beat a brooks but for ~$28 shipped, its the best budget saddle out there.

Yeah man, i've ridden 3 of those. I had a white one on my conversion that I just retired after a year, loved it. Longest I did on it was 20 miles, but that was in street clothes and it was pretty comfortable. I've got a black one on my Kilo and I've done longer rides on it but I was wearing liners/chamois under my shorts, so thats always comfy.

My girlfriends also got a brown one on her road bike and she now has my white one on her Kilo. She loves hers too but she definitely never rides them as far as I do.

Basically they are really great saddles for the price, and IMO they look really great too. They are pretty comfortable when you are wearing whatever as long as you don't ride too far. I love both of the ones that I've had.

For the price, it can not be beat. I own one, and the only reason I don't use it so much anymore is because 1. it's on my rain bike, and 2. my main bike has a Fi'zi:k Arione that I got for free from a good friend. I know two others who have taken them on 20+ rides as well, with no complaints, or any comments about their rear ends being in pain (which is good, haha). The leather Charge's are supposed to be more comfortable than the Synthetic Leather, though.

It may or may not fit you. That's the thing about saddles. It may be the best saddle every made, and everyone in the world may swear by it, but in the end, you won't know until you try it out. But hey, it's 20 bucks, why the hell not?

WoundedKnee 06-18-10 11:34 PM

It's nice for rides of 15 miles or less at a time, but my rides usually exceed 20 and it gets a little owy after that. I got a black one. My girlfriend has a Charge Bucket and says it's "okay" for now.

PS: Order from Outside Outfitters, they don't have any reviews on Google but I've always received my orders from them in a reasonable amount of time and they usually have the best prices on a lot of stuff.

I like mine quite a bit. I find it very comfortable and I regularly do 25+ mile rides on it... of course, I wear liners when I go that far, but even without it is a great saddle. Highly recommended.

Philasteve 06-19-10 02:50 PM

Thanks guys im ordering it for my b day.

pazzmore 06-19-10 04:54 PM

one thing though... because this saddle has stitching on it, it will wear out your jeans quicker than one without... if you care.

+1 on Outside Outfitters. I bought mine from them for about $28 after shipping. I've had it for about a month and really like it so far.
