Are you close to Wrigley field?
80's looks about right.
Panasonic made quite a range of bikes, from mass-produced consumer bikes to one-of-a-kind Keiren models. This looks to be to be one of the latter. Nice catch. |
I'd gladly buy it for $100.

Anyone know what rims those are?
They look like Mavic CXP22, pretty certain that they are Mavic. But they are non-machined?
indeed they are cxp22s, non machined

I'd say it's worth between $500-$800
IIRC, Panasonic made pretty sweet frames back in the day. For $100 that's a slamming deal.
New versions of these go for about $1000, so I'd agree with PedalingATX and say it's worth around $500-700, maybe less since it's been repainted. Looks good, though, quite a find if you got a good deal on it!
Panasonic offered 2 track models in th USA, "1000" and "4000" This looks to be the higher end modal as the lower end was more like a road frame. 500-700 seems fair.
thanks for the info guys....
no it wasn't 100 dollars!!! haha i've been away from the states too long to be kidding around on the net |
It does look to be 80s.
What is the full set of numbers on it? |

I'd say it was built in 1992.
