I can't provide any information. Could it be an NJS Panasonic?

Love the bike though

meh I donno. I thought panasonic only made electronics? I'll give you a hundred bucks for it and take it off your hands if you want...

Are you close to Wrigley field?

80's looks about right.

Panasonic made quite a range of bikes, from mass-produced consumer bikes to one-of-a-kind Keiren models. This looks to be to be one of the latter. Nice catch.

I'd gladly buy it for $100.

johndthompson - although it's difficult to tag a price to one of these frames... what's a reasonable current price?

to all others - if you fly over the pacific, you can have it for 2 dollars

cleanupinaisle3 06-24-10 11:58 PM

Anyone know what rims those are?

Squirrelli 06-25-10 12:14 AM

They look like Mavic CXP22, pretty certain that they are Mavic. But they are non-machined?

fade 06-25-10 03:30 AM

indeed they are cxp22s, non machined

Over the pacific? where are you located?

PedallingATX 06-25-10 09:50 AM

I'd say it's worth between $500-$800

gusmore 06-25-10 12:53 PM

IIRC, Panasonic made pretty sweet frames back in the day. For $100 that's a slamming deal.

Snoots 06-25-10 04:38 PM

New versions of these go for about $1000, so I'd agree with PedalingATX and say it's worth around $500-700, maybe less since it's been repainted. Looks good, though, quite a find if you got a good deal on it!

milkcratebasket 06-25-10 07:04 PM

Panasonic offered 2 track models in th USA, "1000" and "4000" This looks to be the higher end modal as the lower end was more like a road frame. 500-700 seems fair.

thanks for the info guys....

no it wasn't 100 dollars!!! haha i've been away from the states too long to be kidding around on the net

deathhare 06-26-10 04:44 PM

It does look to be 80s.
What is the full set of numbers on it?

deathhare 06-27-10 09:28 PM

I'd say it was built in 1992.
