Found this browsing the net- most expensive fixie in the world
You're missing some i's.
B4rsp1nz clearance?!?!
"There is no breaks, of course its a fixie, but if you wants to add breaks its a $5,000 extra!"
nope. no "breaks." well that's good to know...for a 100 g's...i'd expect it not to break. oh and they'll "break" it for 5 g's. |
no deep v's???
No, my "fixie" is now officially the most expensive fixed gear in the world. I'm selling my beat-up motobecane messenger for $103,000...
it's only worth that much if people are willing to pay for it... and, god willing, nobody will. |
Cyril Style may be a 'trendsetter' but he types like a 12 year old girl that failed her core subjects.
****ing buffoons. |
Is it just me or is that really ****ing stupid?
Lol old news and jackass saddle angle.
So stupid, love the hubs through.

i use the same stem (murex) on my road bike i however passed on gold plating and opted to personally hand polish it.

Hell, I can sell you a bike for twice as much, easy!
Sorry about the "i"s in the title. My computer was tweaking for some reason. Its just amazing what some people would pay for something just to say they have it. I would want the fastest, lightest bike in the world if i were to pay that kind of money.. That murex is gorgeous. How long did it take to get the anodization off?
Damn! If that only had a freewheel I would buy it. Maybe I'll snatch the Puma instead. Tough choice. I wonder if the Puma has "breaks" and could come with the same saddle angle.

I don't know if someone is going to buy that bike, I think it might just be a way for the seller to get free publicity. There was a gold-plated frame at NAHBS this year, and the plating itself is relatively inexpensive, about double what a high-end chrome job would cost. |
Phil Wood's anniversary bike is expensive too. I remember it was listed at 15k somewhere...
Thanks. There were some other interesting bike stories there, too.
