My mother ran into money troubles and I am selling my yamaha mo 8 with its gig bag and amp for $1,400 and giving her $400 that means I have $900 left over I am thinking of buying a bianchi concept frame and fork, if you had $900 what would you do?

You mean 1400 - 400 = 900?

Just messing with you, Bianchi's are kind of overpriced nowadays. I would get a Bareknuckle and use the rest on components.

I have a Masi Coltello and I love it. But if I could do it all over again i'd buy the new Bianchi Super Pista in Celeste. Runs about 750 max I hear. Includes fork and headset.

Yeah im thinking about it, I saw one in my shop a few days ago and I am indeed in love. The bareknuckle doesn't sound to bad either though.

Actually, I'd be content with a Soma Rush. Tange Prestige is good enough for me.

I had $800 for my frame and went with that option. Cept I did pre-order instead of overnight shipping, lol.

No regrets. I like it on the track...

Look at my bike and deal with the crappy frame just so you can have the components. I had to plug!
Otherwise, go for the Bob Jackson.

Aluminum --- cinelli mash
Steel --- toyo godzilla ( I just ordered one) my LBS in Dallas got me a great deal

I love the older bianchi concepts but frankly the new black versions not so much. But bareknukle and toyos are hard to beat. For a new frame.
I know quiteva lot of people who have BK's and not one would give them up. Every person actually says thru could only have one frame itbwould be that.

It's pretty much the replacement for the bareknuckle, just a IMO a better upgraded design. Not tp say the bareknuckle is bad. It's still badass.

So after all that.

+2 on Bob Jackson. Screaming deal with the current exchange rate, and $900 (or $1k or whatever) gets you a very nice frame painted as you like and shipped with change to spare.

To answer the question set forth in the title of this thread, I'd look for a less expensive frame and spend the extra money on other stuff.

I honestly suggest giving it to your mother. If her finances are such that $400 (which is really pocket change) gets her turned around then a little extra will get her comfortable. You already have a bike.

Yeah all good suggestions, she can have it all if she wants but she doesn't want to do that she just wants enough to make her comfortable for now and wants me to treat myself to something nice for helping her out. The numbers are rough estimates i could get more for it meaning ill give her an extra 1-2 hundred.
