I had a similar thing happen with a GF. It was the last straw. Don't go buy expensive toys while mooching off of others.

Now my "bullsh*t corporate job" doesn't seem so bad.

I work 8 hours a day to finance the other 16.

What about 3rd person shooter video games, such as Red Dead Redemption?

I'll allow it.

+1 my man. I work 50+ a week to fund my spending habits.

Trust me just wait it out, get a better job and then buy an njs frame or something that's just as nice. And yes try to avoid CC debt as much as possible, I know I haven't though.

I still don't understand what people see in NJS frames that they'll spend so much money.

Speaking of NJS...

Taken from CL:
I am selling my amazing all NJS track bike. I have problems with my knees and think it needs a home that it can run and play in. You can't see in the photos but on the top tube there is the name of the Keirin rider who owned it before me. It is all (except the crank) NJS. Everything, other than the frame is under 2 years old, never crashed and cared for deeply. I hate letting this guy go but I'd rather not be a cripple.

Panasonic 54.5cm track frame (Slight dent in top tube)

Campagnolo record track crank
MKS Royal pedals & Clip
HKK Vertex chain
2 Nitto Stem & bars (stems are pearl & Jaguar)
Nitto crystal fellow seat post
Suntour BB
Kashimax saddle
Dura-Ace Hubs
Velocity Aero rims
Dura-ace hub crank
Tange headset (there is slight pitting, might need to replace)
White Grande Comp SS 700c Tires (back tire worn pretty much all the way)

you guys are right. it would be stupid for me to drop that much money when i don't even have a room, let alone a decent paying job.

up until a couple years ago, i was making very good money filming skating. i guess the reality of being a broke ass 24-year-old with a dead end job hasn't completely sunk in yet.

my pake is fine. i've ridden a few of my friends' njs bikes and going back to my pake afterward is pretty depressing. i guess this should just motivate me more to get my hustle on.

and yeah, screw a credit card. anyone know of any filming/editing jobs in portland?

and i thought the panasonics these days aren't what it used to be?

There are 2 kinds, POS (950 bucks) PPROS (1700 start i think) The 2nd one is the "Pro Rider" one. Fully custom options like any other company has.

The POS are alright. Not on the level of other njs frames but they arent the same price either!
