crank for old peugeot.
I might get my hands on an old Peugeot that needs some work. I was looking to replace the triple crank with a single speed one but I have no idea what type of crank it can take. Does it matter if it has french or swiss threading? I was looking to put one of the eighthinch cranksets on it.

If the Peugeot has a French threaded bottom bracket, then you'll need one; you may use whatever cranks that you like with that bottom bracket.
