I like both. I only bought my langster because it was 250; if I had to buy new I would pay 400 for the iro over 600 for the langster. It's as good of a bike for less.
Simple as that. And yes, the langster's bb is too low. Really. |

I went IRO. I paid for brakes, but now I wish I hadn't, knowing they're available elsewhere cheaper. The $399 pre-build price is really hard to beat. Here's mine.

if it were me, i would prefer the IRO.....i really dislike the sloping top tube of the langster.
400 for the prebuilt IRO is a great deal, and the extra money could be spent on any upgrades you might want.... sturdy steal and nice geometry win me over. plus i happen to find the IRO overall more aesthetically pleasing as well. my first fixed gear bike i built from the frame up, but if i was aware the IROs were going to price drop to 400 i would have definitely waited for that. |
