Question about stem size
 

Once again another question from the old dirty bastard:
Thinking of buying this stem for my KiloTT & Origin8 risers, and I just want to know what kind of difference I'll feel from that of the stock stem on the kilo? (which I believe is a 90mm stem)
And what quality can I expect from this brand?

If you have your stem pointed up, your body will drop a little bit, but it also shorter so your shoulders will be more over the bars. Depending on the rise of your bars what will proably happen is your hips will be more strait over your saddly, your back will be curved up over your bars, and your arms will be more straight down over the bars.

This is a 1-1/8" threadless. Kilo uses 1". Get a shim for it first.

me thinks the shorter the stem, and the higher upward degree, the more upright one will be :D

Its a drop in angle though, making your post incorrect.

90 degrees is drop in? what is the degree of the kilo stock stem?

73? 74? If you want to make it parallel, you need to get 17 degree stems. Idk something like that, I'm on my phone and I am feeling grumpy today -_-

To get the stem to get straight out from the bike, you would nee an 18degree stem facing "down".


My post was also a bit missleading, im sorry. Its the same angle, but muh shorter which is effectivly a drop, but not an actual drop in angles.
