xavier853 08-14-10 10:41 AM

you want deeper than b43?

dsboy 08-14-10 10:44 AM

thats actually really nice

dsboy 08-14-10 10:47 AM

im gana grab a formula hub too, what sized spokes would i need?

hairnet 08-14-10 11:00 AM

what, why are you asking about spoke? Are you going to build the wheel yourself?

prind0 08-14-10 11:05 AM

3 inches? That's like 76mm deep.

Zipp 808's are that deep, but I highly doubt you want to pay for those... And they don't come in yellow...

just get cheap rims and construct the deep fairings from coroplast, like some polo players and their disc wheels

get rim and hub then go to bike shop and ask for spokes, they'll do all the measuring work

or use a spoke calculator.

I like this answer though, I like where it is going

mastertongue 08-14-10 03:16 PM

Anyone have B43s? I wonder if they'd be a comfortable ride compared to smaller depth rims.

Pretty good for noobs.

I was so tempted to do the "Let me google that for you", but I felt the need to be nice. ... Wait. Nah. Here you go.
