Windsor the Hour Sizing, Please Help
 

Hey,

I'm looking into getting a Windsor the Hour from BD. I'm 5'10" / 5'10.5" with a 33.5" / 34" inseam (did the book against the wall thing to measure it). I've been riding a quite cramped 53cm Sekai conversion, and it's taking a toll on my knees and back. I'm guessing I should get a 54cm or 56cm... but I'm confused due to my weird inseam/height ratio. Any owners have any tips? I know best answer is "try it out before you buy it" but there's no LBS that carry it around here. I also know that I'm probably between sizes, but I would appreciate any help. Thank you.

What you need to look at is the top tube length. Since you said that you are "quite cramped" on your Sekai, measure its TT length and then add about 2cm. Next, find the Windsor size that has a similar TT length. Clearly, standover won't be an issue with your relatively long legs. Nonetheless, it's quite difficult for me or anyone else to help you with sizing given the limited info you've provided, since we have no idea what your preferred riding position is or the type of bars you are using.

Appreciate the quick response, I'll make sure to check the TT length. I'm using standard road drops currently, mostly riding on the flats since going to drops on such a small frame would be painful. I'll be using some sort of drop-bullhorn on the Hour (Nitto 021 / Profile Airwing). You mentioned I've provided limited info, what else would you like to know? Thanks for the help!
