Tire fitting issue....

So, I just got my Kilo TT.
Got my new Gatorskins.
Mounted them, rear is fine. Front rubs on the underside of the brake caliper.....WTH...

I am at a loss if there is anything I can do besides change the tire or the caliper....and it will be the tire as I have a few older tires with life in them.

New tire is a 700x25... any advice?

OK, I'll work on that, but how does that help with my tire rubbing the brake caliper?

1) Sell the Kilo TT
2) Buy a Kilo WT

it came with 23's... figured a 25 would not be too much of a change an searched and found people even going as high as 28s....

i can fit 25s with my front caliper i could fit 28s but not with brakes thats weird

This might be stupid...
Try to switch the rear tire to the front and see if it will make any difference.

Since tires sizing are not always 100% accurate, your rear tire might be smaller than the front.

sandpaper that sh*t until the tire clears.

it is very close, but does rub just a little...enough that it does not spin a full rotation w/o stopping (bike upside down). I still have a 1/4 inch before the frame is an issue.

Just looked again, I 'think' most or even all of the rubbing is the 'extra' tire bit from the injection molding, that will where off in a few miles so I might just try to ride it a little and see if it fixes itself.

the brakes that comes with the Kilo TT off BD has a very weird fit. I took a look when my friend bought his kilo back in May. If u swap the front brake for a cheapo Tektro front brake off bikeisland, ur tires will clear. Otherwise, what I did for my friend as a quick fix is just make the brake arms very close to the rim. When the arms are closer, the underside of the axle lifts a little. Just enough to clear his tires. Just that his brakes became really really responsive. So that's a quick fix if u wanna go that route. But my friend was running 23s. I'm not sure about 25s.
