Going roadie
Ok. Ive made a decision.
After my bike got stolen, I was thinking......at the present time theres little chance of finding it. And ironically I had been planning on another single speed build so the Windsor could go fixed permanently. However, after lots of consideration as to my commute to school, which is mostly uphill for about 7 miles, I was like......wtf. My friend rides his mt bike uphill for 7 miles. I can't possibly do that up the steeep hills on a singlespeed/fixed. Ive made a decision. Im going roadie and im going back to gears. Yes. A GEARED ROAD BIKE!!!! Haha. Good bye guys! .....iuf i get my windsor back im still gonna ride it..after riding ss/fixed (very little) for the time that I did, i loved it dont get me wrong. Now I believe ive discovered a love for road bikes. I just want one with gears now. (a track frame gone ss with brakes is still technically a road bike yes?). |
you talk too much, ride too little.
|
later bro.
|
Sounds like you've gone over to the light side.
|
I have both. Does that mean im on the translucent side?
|
Yep, get the bike that makes the most sense for your commutes.
|
If you're not now, you never were.
|
No need to make an announcement...
And learn to shift... |

exactly. Riding your fixed gear isnt about comfort or making it easy on you. Its about making your legs burn and an unmistakable link between man and machine. |

Sell out. |
I'm going, errr, Tourie. I just finished fixing up a Raleigh Alyeska, so sucks to your fixies and road racers!
anyway, having a road bike doesn't make you a roadie. |
I like to mix it up.. road bike one day, fixed the next.. keeps things interesting.

I bought a Look 566 a couple months back... so I switch back and fourth. The fg is fine for short fun cruises, but I use the road bike for everything else.

Ok. Ive made a decision.
After I finished my chicken salad, I realized there's very little chance in getting it back. Ironically I was planning to eat a bologna sandwich later. However, after lots of consideration to my physique, which is alright but I wouldn't mind toning up a little, I was like......wtf. My friend has a six pack. I can't possibly achieve that eating chicken salad. Ive made a decision. Im going vegetarian and I'm getting a fruit bowl for lunch. Yes. A FRUIT BOWL. Haha. Good bye guys! .....if I get my chicken salad back I'll probably eat it. After the (long time) I ate meat I gotta say I loved it! Now I believe I've discovered a love for fruit bowls, and I never see myself going back. In this one for the long haul, guys! |
