f50fan 09-02-10 12:29 AM

oh god. took me a couple seconds to realize what was up with the fork, etc.

soyboy 09-02-10 08:09 AM

i thought squirrels were like pigeons, isn't there some sort of deal where we stay out of eachother's ways for the most part? poor roadie, i remember seeing those pictures years ago, i don't remember if the guy was injured or not...

John Montgomery 09-02-10 08:15 AM

George Costanza says we got no deal with the squirrels.

btw I hate when that happens.

sageo3000 09-02-10 08:17 AM

a squirrel nearly ran me off the river bed a year or so ago. probably the same squirrel

NinetiesKid 09-02-10 11:46 AM

happened to me with a rabbit at about 20 mph.
the rabbit took a ride around full circle in my wheel and popped out at the last second before colliding with my fork he seemed okay afterwards and I was scared to death. I always see rabbits on that trail, even the little babies...

Leukybear 09-02-10 12:59 PM

Aside from the unfortunate passing of the squirrel, I LOL'd.

sulr 09-02-10 01:04 PM

I'm experimenting with hamsters on steroids, putting one each in the front and rear wheels and harnessing their power, I get AWD and don't have to pedal.

haha i can see that working in my head.

fuji86 09-09-10 10:28 PM

I think I can put one in the front wheel and then design a tube that goes from the bottom bracket back to the rear hub and harness a team of hamsters on steroids for the rear wheel drive ? :)

Does that squirrel have legs like Usain Bolt though is the question ? I think I'll need 3 or 4 of them.
