Now Tucson, Arizona, I think I can safely say it is more pleasant than Phoenix.

You like Tucson? The roads/drivers are awful there, I couldn't imagine riding a bike on them. Though, I do like it better than Phoenix.

I must say Tucson has great nightlife though. The 4th Ave. area is sick at night.

I do miss that coffee... and zoo bombing... late night food cart runs... and other prettier things that call Portland home.

Am still in Canuckistan.

I can deal, compared to what I was used to.. I really don't think it's that bad.

And 4th ave has some good restaurants, but otherwise slightly pretentious.

I haven't seen as many fixed riders on campus as I expected. I may live in the land of corn and soybeans (and pesticides), but I hang out in an office at NCSA on the UI campus. Glad I'm not alone!
