Favorite Fixed Gear Crew?

I knwo theres quite a few out there and they span a few different categories.

I.E....Death Pedal does primarily BMX/Trick style fixed, Mash SF....well they just Mash (and do tricks =p), Monster Track mashes to.

Whose your favorite and why?
Jayde Gernade? Tokyo Fixed? Blue Monday? Mash SF? Monster Track? Death Pedal? Macaframa?

Im torn between Monster and Mash (no pun intended). Lean Mash because of regional/city bias =p

Me and my roadie friends that I ride with. We look cute together.

I can relate to Mash. My part of Vancouver is much like SF. Hills of insanity. Plus I like their stuff. Their videos are hit and miss. Mostly hit.

I don't have a favourite fixed crew. Unless my two cats qualify.

Squirrelli 09-21-10 11:29 PM

I actually haven't seen many "crew" videos...but I like cats.

motobeCarnage 09-21-10 11:29 PM

my crew is pretty ****ing awesome. And by my crew I mean me.

Dr. Banzai 09-21-10 11:32 PM

This is my fixed crew:

Awesome, sleeper cell in the bottom drawer.

Oh...and steven mosher on the youtube is my fav. krew. XOXO Kid can hack it with a foot bag and has a sweet fixie.

Squirrelli 09-21-10 11:43 PM

Awesome crew you have, who's the stealthy fella?

Holy crap! I forgot that I was going to make the "cat thread" for you!! Well, and me to, since I like the kittehs as well!
I'll get on that tomorrow!

And as far as the real topic, me and my buddy Ramon are my favorite crew! Occasionally joined by my friend Calvin.

Flint is topside on recon. Stone is in the trenches.

Squirrelli 09-21-10 11:49 PM

Sweet! <3 cats....I have got to stop derailing threads with various animals...back to the regular program.

I like your quote.

My crew was tight to maan. We just sat on the school steps all day with our fixies propped upright next to us, looking cool all day.

paktinat 09-22-10 07:34 AM

These guys are sick.

KtownDougie 09-22-10 07:43 AM

Cooler weather, the restart of university classes and folks moving away has really put a damper on the Friday rides. I'm the geezer in the center of 29/72.

meh. honestly I don't particularly like any of the different "crews," (if you want a detailed analysis of my griping, I'd be glad to share in a logical and non-ranting form), but the one I dislike the least is probably the Mash guys. Out of all the ride videos, I think they have (and frequently utilize) the best system: the 2 man scooter/camera crew.

Nothing really makes me want to get out and ride more than a properly done group ride/chase cam sort of video, from the actual perspective of what the cyclist sees/experiences. Helmet/bar cams are a close second, but the independent cam operation/riding of the two man op really shines in the event that traffic starts to get dicey, or theres something else to look at other than what's dead ahead.
