You need a stabilizer strap. Sometimes called a third leg.

Or, you have to load the bag with the strap long enough to hang toward the same side on the side of your body as the shoulder strap.

No work. my strap can go to 1cm of strap. But it doesnt work. it'll still slide down when i shake. When i use my belt as a third leg its fine. Im making one out of nylon and clps right now,

you should look into getting a timbuk 2 bag, they come with an additional stabilizer strap. works like a charm.

packing your bag correctly also makes a difference, if you can pack the backside of the bag, the side resting on your bag with something soft like a shirt or a hoodie so it can form to your back.

if you keep the bag high on the back it won't really pull on you

So i went out for a ride and my shoulder is killing me. So i put on a third arm and a second strap going the other way so its an X strap with a thrid arm. Easy.

Now my shoulder no hurt.

If you want a bag that stays put and destributes the weight evenly get a messenger backpack or any kind of backpack really.

I was actually going to buy one of your bags. But i found a bigbig eddie bauer bag in the basement for now. And i just added a third leg and a second strap for stability and even shoulder displacement for heavy school use

The main thing that matters for me is distribution of weight. Try putting more weight on one side than the other and switch it up to see what works for you.

if it isn't designed to sit up high on your back then it probably won't do so comfortably
