Here is a comparison of the shorter reach levers, R100 and RL341.
older model is similar to campy, but the newer levers look more like sram or shimano levers.

Do the 340's have similar cable pull compared to the 200's? Are the tolerances any better?

feels the same. They're supposed to have a slightly different pull ratio, just like the new shimano 5700, 6700 and 7900 levers and brakes, but it's not unworkable.

i have the older campy long pull versions and i really like them. of course, the sram are nicer but they're also five times the cost.
