Just went from 25C to 32C tires. I highly recommend them!

CST Ciudad 700x32c are bulletproof. I was going through so many tires and tubes. Especially on my back tire since I do a lot of skidding. I've had these tires for 2 or 3 days and have done quite a bit of skidding and don't see any signs of wear on the tread yet. They make going over brick roads and seams way smoother. My bike feels way more stable. The tires add a little extra weight to your bike, but if you aren't too worried about weight and just skidz and tricks they are freakin' sweet! They have a reflective ring along the side which is a cool little bonus. I do tricks, skidz and commute with my fixie so it helps to have a beefier tire. I dig'em.

The size of the tire is not what's helping you with your "skids" it's the makeup of the tire. Vittoria Randonneurs in a size 28 would be just as good, if not better than the tire you are running for skidding. Also you might want to check your ratio on a skid patch calculator so you're not hitting the same one every time.

Learn to slow down without skidding, saves muscles and money.

I know the size of the tire isn't helping me with my skids. My skids are just as smooth...they just feel sexier man. My crank and cog are 46/16 so I'm pushing 77.62 inches and my gear ratio is 2.87. I don't skid to stop...I skid to skid. I have a front brake and mostly just slow down with my legs...or I put my left foot over my back tire if I'm hauling ass.
