Lever into lever
My newbie question is :
Can you run a brake cable into one end of a Promax 239A lever, and then out of it... and the brake cable then into a TT lever. Will the Promax 239A allow this ? http://img830.imageshack.us/img830/3724/pluglevers.jpg Many thanks in advance, |
If that's a cross lever, that's what they're made for.

Thanks for replying, so you are saying a 'Promax 239A' is a cross lever and will allow itself to be used as a junction. which in turn would allow a second lever ( a TT lever ) to work the same brake as the Promax 239A ?

Looks like 239A is 22.2mm, which is MTB handlebar diameter. 249A can handle 23.8mm for road bars. Check your bar diameter. Otherwise, it looks like a cross lever, but a quick search only shows that lever used alone. |
the 239a is the lever that came with my eai/promax keirin brake kit. i set it up as a cross lever on a road bar and it worked just fine.

Grateful for clearing that ( sort of... ) up. |
