Fuji Track Pro
Ok so here is the deal. Ive just been offered a Fuji Track Pro for a very good price. $300, as opposed to $1000 msrp. I currently have a 2011 Leader 725 and loving it. Im torn, I do like how the Fuji Track Pro looks, but i have no idea if it is any better than my 725. Will it handle any better? Is it better constructed? How is the tubing thickness? Any thoughts of the two frames?

I love my '09 leader 725tr to death, but the fuji is a nicer frame. I'm not sure I would ride it on the street though. Frame dents and theft could be sucky issues

Your cog is slipping.
There are quite a few differences between the 2009 725TR and the new one. It may not be apples and oranges but it's definitely apples and...much better apples.
If I were on the track it may be a different story but I'll take a Leader for riding on the street over a FTP any day.

If the Fuji Track Pro is a frameset, grab it. The ones being sold at Nashbar for $200 don't come with forks, so you have to source a fork and headset. What I will say is that the FTP is, for me, a racing bike. No brake drilling, no provision for one. I suppose you could have the frame drilled, or go full fixed/singlespeed. But to my view it's more a track racing bike than a street beast, like the Cannondale Capo or something.
