Looking to buy.. Is this bike worth it ?

https://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-ROAD-TRACK-B...ht_12665wt_847

Is this bike worth the price ? Now.. I dont need anything fancy, I really am just looking for a bike to get to and from school without breaking. So at $150, is this bike a good deal or should I pass on it ?

Thanks..

chicabike = BikesDirect.

If you're looking for something no-frills on the cheap, it's a good deal. If you plan on "upgrading" everything and putting $1000 worth of tarcky parts on it, don't bother.

Definitely not looking to upgrade with $1000's in parts, just want something cheap and reliable that wont break but still good quality at the same time

In all honesty, that bike is better than other inexpensive options (like the SE Draft) and if well-maintained, should get you around just fine.

cc - if you get one - especially a purple one - be sure to leave the chainguard on.

Get a cro-moly frame and then you have something that doesn't ride like a tank.

Save up for it if you have to.
