@ Scrod - I'm thinking of changing out the bars for some bullhorns, but I'm waiting on a new stem (also black). If I stick with risers, I have a spare Tektro lever lying around with a small clamp diameter that should fit right by the grip. I never got around to putting them on because I need to re-cut a longer cable/housing.
@ illdthedj - I would switch the tires, but the fork can't fit anything bigger than 23c. Maybe a 25c, but I was getting some rubbing when I tried it earlier. If I switch out for the bullhorns mentioned above, the cockpit will be all black.
@ TT - Nope. Hahaha.
@ Blue - I bought the frame with the painted fork. I would have much preferred if the previous owner hadn't spraybombed the fork and left it in raw carbon, or even black. Does anyone know how to remove the paint without damaging the fork?

Haha yeah those orange sidewalk tires were fugly, but it was 10 bucks at the lbs for the pair while I waited for tue conti gp4000s on it now. Before those, I was actually riding the origiobal tires (yes 1988). I had so many people tell me to ditch them for safety/ style, but they wernt even really dry rotted/worn (the original owner didn't put many miles on it). On my 3rd flat with them (in 3 years, so not bad) I really flubbed up one of the side walls taking them off, realized the things were completly worn through, and had to replace them. I forget what tires they were ( check Sheldon browns), but I have to give them props for being amazing old tires. That said, the gp4000s made it a new bike. Also, about the small chain ring, know it is single speed, and I live in the f'n mountains.

Leader- Should've gone with silver hubs/spokes.
That other bike- Frame doesn't fit, and I hate those tugnut things.

looks kinda saggy to me. sheldon brown said "It should be tight as it can be without binding". and if that is close to binding the chainring needs to be adjusted. but hey whatever
