Not a fan of the saddle.

It's period correct and looks appropriate on that bike.

The Brooks Swift - like most Brooks saddles - is designed to be pointed up a little in front.

Round 2!

Please don't tell me to buy a black crankset just for aesthetics.

Thanks for the QR advise. Why, what's bad about unicrowns?

Just finished this conversion of a bone-stock Windsor Clockwork (Orange, 'natch) into this unholy creation - my interpretation of a do-it-all bike. Helps me answer that nagging question: "Oooh, I wonder where that trail goes?".

A set of gimme 700 x 35 gummies.

The Sturmey-Archer S2 experiment. Takes a little getting used to. Gotta hold your mouth just right...

Leftover flat bar, hand-me-down Ergons & MTB levers. Had to buy the B17, though.

I can dig it, but wide bars are WWWWIIIIIIDDDDEEEE

Take a link out of that chain if you can. Something about having a wheel slammed that far back in the track-ends skeeves me out.

Dannihilator 04-04-13 07:28 PM

Let's try this again....

Saddle too high.

Nice job on the windsor...I think I need to ditch the black components on my hour.

If I were four inches taller, I'd be a perfect circle. I'm 5' 11" & 52" around the chest. Not your classic cyclist build.

Yep, I need a half-link. The 35's won't clear the brakes if I remove a full link.

Get longer bars and shorter brake levers.

720mm wide is my sweet spot, what I feel comfortable with same with the brake lever.

Even though there's absolutely nothing wrong with it?

+1.

Enough with the one word responses that have nothing to do with the thread, please.

It's only going to slide forward if the hub slips.
