Can anyone tell me why all the Leader aluminum track frames have threaded holes just above the dropout slots?

So as I am putting together a new frame of mine, I've come across a predicament. Do I re-use the existing FSA ZS3 headset which looks to be a bit rough around the edges, or do I invest in a new headset just to be on the safe side...

I am looking for a Zero Stack headset, not an inset headset correct?

Photos to follow once everything is together... Don't want to spoil all the fun.

P.S: Anybody out there make a leader badge that doesn't look like a piece of tin?

Damn...you got a purple one?

You need a zero stack, that's right. As long as the cup/bearing interface is ok, you can reuse. You should be able to get a new headbadge from Leader.

The chainstays are flattened so it will accept any crankset and the welds are smoothed out but the geo is the same. Also, the stays are a little shorter now so you can slam that rear wheel no matter what size you've got.

happy - contact Leader here:

Just one more day before everything is up and ready.

I tried out the white deep-V's and I have to say it looks superb, though I am very proud of my newly built wheelset (*photos to follow soon) I have a new project that I will undertake regarding the Deep-V's

I just hope this sun can stay out a bit longer here in PDX

BTW scrod, do those FOER 41 stickers come off?
