Fenders for 2010 Masi Speciale Commuter

I just picked one of these up, used but in great shape. I want to add fenders, but I've never bought them before and I'm not sure about sizing with the tires, etc. I know the frame has the mounts for fenders and/or racks.

Any suggestions? Thanks!

These are Velo Orange, they look good but they were hard to put on and didn't install the way the instructions said - required some kludgery and zip ties. 45mm fenders and 32mm tires.

I've used SKS brand plastic full fenders on most of my bikes. They come in different sizes based on tire size, and the correct size for your bike, which has 700x 32c tires, is the P45 model >>> https://www.universalcycles.com/shopp...82&category=78

Note that the silver fenders are an old style with only one set of supports on the front fender, and that the newer models have sturdier (thicker) supports and double supports on the front like the black fenders.

My next purchase will be SKS/Esge Fenders. They look nice and have a range of sizes for different tires. Largest size they sell fits up to a 50mm. What size tires do you run?

I like the retro look

I run 700x28c front and 700x32c rear Panaracer RiBMo's on the Salsa Casseroll with P45 fenders (silver, 45mm wide) and 700x35c Panaracer Pasela TG folding on the Kilo WT with P50 fenders (black, 50mm wide). According to SKS, the largest tire that should be used is a 700x45c with the largest 700c/27" fender that they make, which is the P50. They do make wider fenders, but they are intended for 26" wheels/tires (P55 and P65).

Thanks for the clarification TT. I'll still probably order the P50 in case I want to run huge tires, getting the tires to clear my brake pads is another issue.

I've got these currently --- 700x35c Panaracer Pasela TG
