Maybe it's binary combined with iambic pentameter to form an algorithm like no other...above and beyond our mudane comprehension. I do not question the skitbra...

What about the hub?
|
I don't question hubs either
|
hey man, just curious, what's your opinion of wannabe moderators?

Goldtec make a nice 130mm fixed hub. Not too expensive either. That's what I use.
|
i think kogswell do a 130 hub too, in fact i think it is the only size fixed hub they do.
also, to the search function- it seems that there is a constant core of posters here but also quite a few new people, surely it is a good thing to raise an issue with the possibility of getting new imput. i guess this could be done by searching and then resurrecting the old thread, which seems ok. however if you have a problem with a thread (ie you've seen it all before) why not click the 'back' button on your browser and refrain from posting, it can't be too hard to ignore a thread. if all repetition of thread content was banned this would be one dead forum (apart from the inside jokes) Salmon |
Anyone know of a 130mm hub that's anodized the color of cherry pie?
Man, I love pie.. |
sorry man, those are all 110mm or less.
(note: wiscompton - chuckle) |

We're just hoping that if we show you that you're unappreciated here (and you are. unappreciated. here.), you'll move on, just as you did in the road forum. My advice is for you to find a 12Omm track wheel, stick your rear triangle in a vise, and crank until it fits. That should work fine. |
"It's my opinion. If you don't like it.....don't read it."
Ironic retort coming from the person so hyped up from a single, constructive response. |

Thanks to the people who didn't pay attention to [165] and his desire to block the flow of knowledge.......now I can actually build one. |
Really there are two choices:
1. Get a hub spaced at 130mm. I think a number of people have suggested options here: Van Dessel, Phil Wood, Goldtech and White Industries etc. 2. Respace an existing 120mm hub by swapping the axle and adding spacers. Harris Cyclery state that you can do this to: IRO hubs (claim theres enough threading on the axle so would just need spacers/washers), Surlys, Suzue ProMax and Suzue Basics (just need spacers here too), but you can do this to most hubs if you can find a suitable replacement axle. See http://www.sheldonbrown.com/harris/fixed-hubs.html So now you have a ton of options, though the Suzue Basic should be used only if you hate your bike. |

Let me know if you advice on stopping without brakes. I'd be glad to offer some to your sorry, stupid ass. Oh, and for the record, I am not a wannabe moderator. I just hate you. |
You might want to check out IRO's hubs. They come in a 130 spacing and are $70 a set or so.
|
53-11, the red star doesn't have a damn thing to do with being/wanting to be a moderator. Second of all, that search: "130mm fixed hub" shows up more than just your post. 22 others, in fact.
