Gravity Attack info??
Hi guys,
I am in the market for another bike after I finish RMA-ing my ****ty vilano. I am currently looking at BD bikes and I noticed their new "gravity attack" bike. It looks pretty good - AL frame and Carbon fork (seems like it would be lighter than track or kilo). I am also comparing it to the motobecane track and kilo TT (mainly because they have a nice blue color I like :D) Any suggestions? I will be mainly using the bike for commuting and leisure riding... Thanks Just wondering what the pros/cons of each bike is and what/why u guys feel is the best bike for the price |
There's already a thread on this, thats not even to old.

yeah i read through that one but I have never seen any mention of the Gravity Attack and people's comments on it

Get whatever one you like better, frame weight doesn't make a huge difference. I personally like the motobecane track. The Kilo TT seems to be the most popular but does cost more.

Well it's pretty new; not many first adopters either... you can always be one and report back the good or bad news. But if you don't we all just assume the bike expl0ded and you did the dyeing.

1) Upright comfort bike riding position. 2) Has both fixed cog and freewheel. 3) Has front and rear brakes with cable housing stops on top tube for rear brake. 4) Has 2 sets of water bottle cage mounts. 5) Kinesis carbon fork > cromo steel fork 6) Chainring guard 7) Stock pedals can be ridden with regular soft soled shoes Geometry chart -------> http://gravitybikes.com/specialty/attack.html |
Looks a lot like a langster/bowery/any number of aluminum frames with a sloping top tube.

Priced right that's for sure. Like TT said it's got attributes for both commuting and cafe/recreational riding. Braze ons for a rear rack, wb cages, frt & rr brakesets, carbon fork, 25mm tires? Lots of options.
Personally, I'd spend another 100.00 and get the Kilo TT Chrome LE. But, that's just me. Go for it...it's only money. :thumb: |

care to elaborate what that means? Is the frame similarity a good or bad thing? |
