Bicycle Paint job Ideas

i'm starting to build a new bike up and just got some awesome orange wheels, white spokes and orange hubs.

I want this bike paint job to be my best yet.

I was hoping some people maybe had some ideas or inspirational pictures of their rides.

I have done a few others but i want this one to be classy and awesome thanks guys

Actually, I think red-yellow-black-yellow would be kind of cool.

or go with basic color theory and use blue... blue and orange is and has always been one of my fave color combos. it's actually sort of what i'm working with now, I've even got a friend working on some custom lettering for the top tube.

I would go royal blue with the orange scheme. (orange hubs make me lol for some reason)

Maybe post a photo of your wheelset?

Question regarding paint job & such:

For those who have gotten their frame powder-coated/painted. Is there a difference? Powder-coating better? And how much should one pay for a quality paint job?

Haven't gotten one myself but from what's posted around here, powdercoat is more durable.

Artist creativity and skill; lots of sharpies (as I swear when a sharpie starts losing ink, it starts smearing the ink you laid down previously causing blurs and smears...)

^ This is because sharpies use a certain type of oil as the base. It is what makes them permanent and it is why you can sometimes remove sharpie with sharpie. When that starts to happen the oil to pigment ratio is off so your diluting the pigment you already laid down.

I am full of useless info!

I think a white bike with a few orange accents would look good. I know it's not a bicycle but good inspiration
