Seagull Black Bag Medium size

I'm looking into purchasing a Seagull medium black bag but the overall size looks a little deceiving. The bag looks much smaller then the quoted 2754 cu and was wondering if anyone has first hand experience with the actual capacity of this bag... For example could it hold a case of 24 beers with room to spare for other stuff such as a hoodie and some books? Thanks!!!

i was wondering about the size myself. it looks small and when you run the RAW dementions it is something around 1800 cu inches. can anyone compare it to a Chrome Metro? that is suppose to be around 2000 cu inches. Seagull bigger/smaller?

I have one. It's not big enough to hold a 24 pack, books and a hoodie. It will fit a laptop and two textbooks fairly comfortably (plus randoms). I'll try and get a picture of some stuff inside it.

I have a Chrome Metropolis (2000 cubic inches flat volume) and wish I had a bigger bag.

You CAN hold a case of beer in it plus some clothes and maybe a book or two, but that is about it.

I imagine the Seagull medium is about the same size.

I am considering upgrading to the Seagull Black Bag - https://www.seagullbags.com/black/

Large is roughly 4000 cubic inches raw, about double the Metropolis and perfect for hauling around a bunch of stuff.

I guess i need to be more specific. I'm interested to know how the medium black bag compares to the chrome metropolis size wise. Also I normally only carry a case of 12 but was wondering if for whatever reason I needed to carry 24 as to whether or not it is possible... Thanks for all the help!!!

I can only speak for the Chrome Metropolis as that is what I have.

Someone else can speak for the Black Bag and fill in that half of the equation.

Yes, you can fit a whole case of beer in it. It will be pretty uncomfortable, but it can be done.

I think I have a medium Seagull Black Bag ( I bought it used and I think that's want the seller advertised it as), and the most I've fit was a 12 pack, two Mississippi Mud's, two packages of mac and cheese, rain jacket, and my little ***** bag with tools and such.

I had a seagull medium that I wound up selling. They're fine if you just want to carry a few books, your tools, and maybe a change of clothes, but I found that when I filled it to capacity the strap really choked up on me.

However, I can see just from looking at the site just now that the design has changed: where there was a somewhat absurdly huge cam buckle there's something much more sensible. It used to be that, when the bag was completely full, I could just put my chin to my chest and it would be touching the big metal buckle, which I thought was no good (and apparently they agreed).

I used to have a large Black Bag before I sold it...

Most I ever carried was 12 pack of beer (bottles), orange juice, 2 bottles of champagne, small case of strawberries, and chips... + ulock/thin jacket.

I have a Medium Seagull and I have carried a 24 pack. It was uncomfortable and the strap chokes up a lot, but it physically fits in the bag. You could maybe sqeeze a couple other things in there but not much. Alternatively, I have fit 6 40's easily (I like how everyone quotes sizes in beer). It is much larger than a chrome citizen (I used to own one), but I cannot compare it to the metropolis. Also, the shape of the Seagull is much better in my opinion. It is more of a box shape while Chrome is more like an envelope.

I've fit two 12 packs of beer in my Bailey Works medium bag, which is probably close to the seagull size..
