good crankset

hi, im looking for any suggestions for a good crankset for a fixie that im building, and ideally it would be something cheap that would still work well.

...if you're not, sign up for their eMail list and wait for a discount code.

OUTMAR is usually worth .10 off, it was last month anyway.

For real, man. I'll never spend a penny on an Origin 8-branded product ever again.

+1

also all city 612

Scrodzilla 03-07-11 05:54 PM

If you're looking at All-Citys you may as well get a set of unbranded Andels and nix the gigantic logo on the crank arms.

I've got this and it's been pretty rad so far. And it's shiny.

The same crankset is for sale on bikeisland.com for 34.00 with free shipping.

Bike island pretty much rules with the whole free shipping thing.

i've been happy with my pake track crank for the money.

tgscordv6 03-08-11 02:40 PM

Origin 8 makes complete garbage. My friend received one of them stem with an ovalized clamp. I would not trust a company that makes products with a 5mm error tolerance.

I'm beginning to see this more and more, but I have a Propulsion handle bar and it is pretty good

Scrodzilla 03-08-11 03:21 PM

Until the OP chimes back in with how much money he/she actually wants to spend, we can all keep rattling off cranksets until our fingers bleed and get absolutely nowhere.
