Personally, I'd prefer triplets for my fixie... And for me. :)

But all you need to keep the chainline in the right spot are like 12 inch track ends...

i love the way everyone is so offended by the though of gears... :D

Offended, disgusted and all around outraged.

<says that as he hopes his knees hold out and he doesn't have to go back to riding a freewheel bike at some future point/>

Triplets? BAH!!! Not enough variety. I bet when you go to 31 Flavors you only have one. Me? Strawberry, Vanilla and Mocha. Just try to stay away from anything with nuts.

Well, if anyone is in San Diego and wants to take a spin at my ride home, feel free to PM me. I'll even have ice cold adult beverages on the way home. But if you're not riding fixed, you'll have to pick a gear and live with it... just so you can get the appreciation.

Of course, I suck, so why does it matter?

Remember you are the purest cyclists ever. let's keep it that way. P.S. anyone know where I can get my hubs powdercoated to match my bag and shoes?

Yeah, but the chrome totally hurts your weak spine, and is probably causing scoliosis. I recommend getting away from the computer, and never posting in this sub forum again. Alternatively, I have perfected a rudimentary form of chiropracty that i would be willing to practice on your spine, involving a pair of steel toed work boots.

FixinInTraffic 10-26-04 04:46 PM

BACK ON TOPIC! (at least for a second)

do you guys have cyclocomputadoras on your fixxies? I never have, I just try to get those "speed limit - your speed" things to detect me

bostontrevor 10-26-04 04:50 PM

On my main ride, for sure. I'm wicked curious plus it is like a crop with which to continually flog myself. Must. Push. Harder. Spin! Spin!

A friend of mine, when really really drunk, decided to see how fast he could run past one of those. Holy ****, funniest thing I have ever seen. Sometimes his legs were going to fast and he would not be able to slow down. Other times, he was leaning too far forward and fell nad skinned his face. But he keep trying and trying. And injuring himself in the process. Each injury funnier than the last. I could not stop laughing, and whenever we all get together, we just start laughing for no reason.
Best episode ever...
