Ouch... from a fellow vigorelli owner to another. I know how it feels, I sold my dream nagasawa the way of bills a couple years back.

CC is the seat on the Visp the Aero Saddle from Origin 8? And if so, how do you like it?

1984 Fuji del REY (repainted). First day into conversion. 27' wheels. I was very lucky that the chain line came out perfect. Still gotta get some single chain ring bolts. It rides very nice and quiet.

Function > form. I think my around-town build is finally done. Still dialing in fit, but no new parts will be added.

What is the wheelset on the Bianchi? It looks good, just such an awkward stem...

Thomson 50mm is my favorite threadless stem. I run a 90mm with drops. There's not that many stems that look good with risers...
The wheels are Velocity Aeros.

That Fuji is really tasteful. I love gray bikes with brown accents.

i cant comment because i havent seen you on the bike, but i cant help but think the 90 would look much less awkward and cramped. but by all means, ride what fits

The frame fits pretty perfect. The 90mm is good when you're racing in the drops, but the 50mm works better with the risers. They're two totally different riding positions, but you guys have been riding bikes long enough to know that.

if anything risers feel better on a stem longer than you'd use with drops. risers give you shorter reach with the same stem, so i usually like a stem 20mm longer

agreed. my last mountain bike wore a 140mm stem (and yes, the bike was the correct size)

That is strange espanol. Most folks go for shorter stems on drops or bullhorns than flats/risers. But whatever works for ya.

3gb, I like really long stems on my MTBs too, full on XC position, with the exception of the one I have with shifters/brakes on barends - I put a shorter stem with more rise on that one, much like I would if I was putting drops or bullhorns on it.

Hmmm. Idk, I had the same stem on my Waterford and it's just so comfortable. I don't feel like an ape hanging over the front wheel. I don't know anything about mountain bikes.

"Brev M" I like it a lot. It's got that classic shape and it's very supportive. Not too soft and not too hard. I like the way it curves on top and gives you option of changing the sitting position like going back and forth while riding. It's nice and it's got a good price.

nice, shoutin to pc. Looks so great; that sparkly finish and smooth welds just screams cannondale, but with dat new skool form.

the origin8 aero saddle is super plush and a good shape but it's not that nice. I like it for my around town rides a TON but it's not what i'd use on a long period of time and the foam and cover seems REALLY cheap.
