Just tell them that your pants aren't really tight, it's just how all pants look because you have brutal, bulging leg muscles...works for me every time!

Package was well hidden, but in full effect, as usual. Same pants I wore for the interview. Baffling.

if the job is worth anything[meaning, it could turn into a 'career'] dont trip.

im an auto tech at a large high-end dealership. the gen manager tells me to take off my ben sherman brimmed wool beenie because it 'makes me look like a hoodlum' meanwhile another older tech is wearing a touque with the fuzzy ball on top. it makes him look like he licks the windows on the short bus. the gm says nothing to him.

i take it off. meh, he never says anything about my tattoos.

I got in trouble for rolling my pant legs up when I was leaving work. I even had my bike with me while walking out of work. I am glad I quit the job, but I do miss the $50k/yr, but being a PhD student is worth it.

A while back I worked with this guy who had skinny leg chef pants, complete with bulge. I can only imagine he altered them himself.

Not in the work place, but I am surprised how many women walk around with yoga pants on... Very revealing skin tight pants... On my route I tend to pass 2 gyms and 2 yoga studios... but many more women around the neighborhood... Just doesn't seem right.

If the pants situation is the worst thing you've dealt with so far, then i'd say just deal. I've worked at places where they do this sort of thing to shake down the new workers, weed out the "unruly" ones.

It blows for sure, but dealing with other peoples' petty bull is how it has to be sometimes.

It's a call center gig. So even more wtf. Someone's vendetta.

Could probably be running the place in about two months. Just picked it to keep the resume current.

But if this is the atmosphere, might go back to the shop for the season.
