I've just been here too long, and this town is going down hill more and more every day. I can't wait until I can come here for a refreshing visit though. When were you up in A-Town? Often a nice, mellow place indeed. |

If anybody is looking for a great point and shoot that can fit into your pocket and still take great photos, I highly recommend the Olympus XZ-1:
http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/...500_AA300_.jpg It has a great panoramic setting that anybody can use, and works amazingly well: https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-u...0/P7300364.JPG https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-B...0/P7300351.JPG |
Thank you for the info, if I didn't just get a Fuji-Finepix 4000 on a fat sale. It has great panorama, but doesn't fit in the pocket unfortunately!
I defiantly wanna check them out, at least get my hands on one for a second. |
my brothers G10 did not fit easily in my pocket, and @ f2.8 the photos are nice, but I felt something missing... The Olympus goes to f1.8, but the shutters only 1/2000 so the sun can easily wash out a photo.... But from what I've tried out so far the Olympus takes the cake.
Would love to try out a Nikon, or that new Sony NEX: http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/...500_AA300_.jpg but I have Canon lenses, so I am still crossing my fingers for an "E.V.I.L" G13 |
Just took the plunge and ordered a Fuji X100. I sold my Canon 24-70mm f/2.8L lens last week, so it'll end up being about an even trade. Stoked.

Nah it's a Zagg skin. Had an otterbox and couldn't stand walking around with a brick in my pocket.
Nonetheless I assume you don't care much about your 3g/3gs; that the zagg skin doesn't protect from any impacts, just scratches... |
