Replacement fork for Cinelli Vigorelli
 

I'm new here so I'm not sure this this thread belongs here or not (probably not), but I'd appreciate any help.

I want to add a braking system on my 2007 Cinelli Vigorelli. We all know that its fork will not support brakes.

Any suggestions on a fork that I can use as a replacement?

How much are you looking to spend?

If you want to match your current fork rake, you'll need to get a track fork and most track forks are not drilled.

Ya, I've come to the conclusion that I can't use a track fork.

I'd like to spend no mare than $250.

Do you know if your Vigorelli have a aluminium fork crown? If it is, then a machine show could drill it for you.

I've taken it to multiple bike shops that don't want to touch it due to fear that they might break the crown, therefore have to buy me a new fork.

I guess I just have to do my research. This is a good start.

Email Cinelli to see if the crown is aluminium, though you will most likely void the warranty.

If you don't mind a long rake (42+), then you have a lot of road forks to choose from.

I haven't really ridden it yet but it's the only one in the price range that I can find drilled.
