Replacement fork for Cinelli Vigorelli
I'm new here so I'm not sure this this thread belongs here or not (probably not), but I'd appreciate any help.
I want to add a braking system on my 2007 Cinelli Vigorelli. We all know that its fork will not support brakes. Any suggestions on a fork that I can use as a replacement? thanks. |
How much are you looking to spend?
If you want to match your current fork rake, you'll need to get a track fork and most track forks are not drilled. |
Ya, I've come to the conclusion that I can't use a track fork.
I'd like to spend no mare than $250. |

Track rake, but expensive. Do you know if your Vigorelli have a aluminium fork crown? If it is, then a machine show could drill it for you. |
I've taken it to multiple bike shops that don't want to touch it due to fear that they might break the crown, therefore have to buy me a new fork.
I guess I just have to do my research. This is a good start. |
Email Cinelli to see if the crown is aluminium, though you will most likely void the warranty.
If you don't mind a long rake (42+), then you have a lot of road forks to choose from. |
Great:
http://www.retro-gression.com/produc...-aluminum-fork I haven't really ridden it yet but it's the only one in the price range that I can find drilled. |
