Where can I buy track ends?

Henry James Paul others? |
Bob Jackson has Pauls. You may be able to buy some from them. I know I have seen them somewhere for $40, but I can't remember where.

Dang those are expensive. Maybe I can finagle someone to machine some for me in the shop...

I got a neat set of track ends with a derailleur hanger and bottle opener from http://www.paragonmachineworks.com/

On, but off topic, what are you thinking about building?
|
Not building. Converting an old cromo frame with vertical dropouts.
Thanks for nova and paragon. Any other ideas are appreciated. |
Any LBS can order you a set of Surly track ends for around 40 bucks.

If you're retrofitting an existing frame, the Henry James "Conversion Dropout" is probably your best bet. It has longer chainstay and seatstay tabs and accommodates a wide range of stay angles. After you determine the chainstay/seatstay angle for your application, you grind the excess material off of the tabs.
