Those guys need a serious lesson in bike fitting 101.

Every single bike they've built had either/or both saddle and bars tilted at ridiculous angles. Every single one.

That's what I don't get. Leader's products (most of them, anyway) have come a long way in the past few years and every single build we see is some ****ty, unrideable hunk of crap from Japan. I think they only build bikes to take pictures of them, and barely finish them when they do. Like this shining example:

Brakes but no cables or levers, an Aerospoke in the rear and barely any stem at all - but it has a full carbon fork. No wonder a lot of people here in the US still don't take Leader seriously.

That's probably how they tightened down the nuts on the front wheel and missed a few times.

Today I woke up at 1 30 in the arvo after a big Thursday night out. First thing I see when I walked out my bedroom door was my clips, straps and some goodies from scrod. Then my little sister told me there was a pretty big bushfire last night about a 5 minute drive from my house. That sucks but at least I'll be able to put the finishing touches on my bike and take it for it's first spin! Also there's a big month long festival called 'The Fringe' kicking off tonight with a massive street parade, I'm worried that tonight will be as big as last night.

Not all Leader Builds are terrible:

Anyway, today I: registered for my first race, this Sunday, a 25 minute crit (Cat 5, obvs). Extremely excited and extremely nervous. I'll be riding it on a borrowed Trek 1.2, so it'll be my first time on a geared bike in basically ever. Will I be judged if I show up with clips and straps? I don't think the morning of a crit will be a good time to learn clipless pedals.

Also, I've recently been looking for a new shoe to wear when I ride, and I had a thought. Is there any reason I can't wear a clipless cycling shoe without the cleat and use that in my clips straps? I have a multitude of reasons for not wanting to put clipless pedals on the fixed gear, but would like a cycling specific shoe to wear for longer rides. The sperry's just aren't cutting it any longer.

Yeah he got arrested for "causing a disturbance on school grounds." He's 18, so he's ****ed. I personally don't like the guy, so I don't care what happens to him, but its one of the biggest things that has happened in our school in a couple months.

For some reason I doubt anything real bad would happen to him.

Well its probably gonna go on his permanent record, and he's been admitted to some pretty high up music schools, so that might not go over too well for him. And pretty much the only thing he can do is play cello.

well earlier today or yesterday afternoon i picked up my fyxation pursuit bars and put them on and wrapped them.

maybe its just me but new bars make the bike feel like a whole different bike. Love em. super happy with my fyxation rodeo pursuit bars. They sent me a sticker as well but im not to keen on putting stickers on frames so i threw it on the inside of my left crank arm.

You need a tool box. They are the best things to put bike stickers on.

Today I pulled a flannel shirt out of my closet that hasn't fit me since I was a senior in high school. So close to fitting right again. Feelsgoodman. And my road shoes might be getting here today, I'm going to sign a lease on an apartment for next year, and a friend is throwing a huge party tonight. Pretty good Friday if you ask me, and it hasn't really even started yet.
