Went on an adventure with my friend today around NYC, got cramped up and lost on the way back. After I made it back to familiar territory I headed to my grandmas house for some home cooking!

Well everyone needs to get their FOID cards ASAP. It can take some time for processing so you best order right away. Only $10 last I checked.
Then we can plan a date to go. I've been there several times. Not the greatest most friendly place in the world, but it'll do.

Working CP is a great way to get a feel for the alleycat scene.

Today I have to go pick up my bike with my car... Last night got really dehydrated to the point where I felt like I couldn't ride my bike home so I left it locked up in Wrigleyville. Hopefully it didn't get puked on, LOL.
Fingers crossed that it's still there. Also, Wrigleyville? Gross haha.

If you or bryan are working it, I'd tag along and help out.
I'll likely be in my kitchen working.

There's a place out in Oak Park or something that my buddy Erik goes to that you don't need a FOID for. He's invited me to go with him, and I don't have one, but I haven't gone yet.

Last night I karaoked at a lesbian dive bar with my wife and some friends. Worst karaoke experience ever, though I did bust out a new song and killed it. I'd say what it is, but I wanna surprise Kaz with it the next time we karaoke together. No public transit was running by the time we got done, so I put my wife in a cab and rode home. 3.6 mile ride according to Google, and I beat the cab home by about five minutes.

Today i did laps around CP, randomly met up with my only friend who rides on the ferry over th the city

He showed me the cool kayaking boathouse he goes to then met up with me in the park

Dude is fast. Cut my ride 20 miles short cuz i felt myself bonking out trying to keep up with him, and i still had a decent ride home to do

All in all was a fun day, its nice to ride more than just yourself

Gotta get on that clipless & waterbottle action tho

sounds like a good time.

at my friend's baby shower, we did guns and chili. two of the group were FBI so it was a full auto party (custom AR's and H&K MP5's).

tried out an all road (vs some dirt path) route to work today. adds 2mi to the trip, my commute goes from 13min to 19min and there's another big hill climb involved.

seems counter-intuitive, but i need the conditioning for my first CX race in October. especially if i plan on bringing the singlespeed.

Today I had a blast (literally) shooting steel plates with my snub nose. I need to practice a bit more since I use it as my CCW.

I also learned how awesome daylight light bulbs are.

The bike was still there, no one even messed with my clip-on fender. I moved it off Clark to a side street before heading home. But yeah, Wrigleyville was horrible. Well, that's not true, it started out as a great night. But that neighborhood on a Saturday night at last call is a horrifying thing. There wasn't even a Cubs game. I was embarrassed to be a human after seeing that spectacle of complete **** show drunkenness.

I am well aware of how ****ty that area is at last call. Remember where I work, and how late I'm usually here. Speaking of, you should've come and seen me. We have Cantillion Vigneronne bottles now.

Same on all accounts. My everyday carry, almost forget it's there most of the time.

Shot 5 of my +P hollow points a couple weeks ago without ear protection and thought I was shooting a damn cannon.

Today I got to fire a .50 deagle with the gold plated SWAG for the first time... sheer awesome, the recoil, as unforgiving it is, was only part of the experience. Also, as of today I'm the proud legal owner of a colt AR15 after a bro hookup. I got to take it out for a couple clips and the registration process for it raised an eyebrow of mine. On the banned list? Nope, I just bought 1 and a half AR15's. 10 days.

Nice, even though it's almost impossible to get a CC permit in CA, I'm looking for a .357, snub nose or not. I currently have a Springfield XD-9 service issue, I've always wanted a revolver though.

Yeah, I'm happy for Wiggins. I haven't watched it yet, but I read the results and it seemed awesome.
