today i work for 4 hours and go into the city to look at bags and leather jackets, then school till 10 meh? |
Today I'm looking for a good lever/hood + brake setup for my big block. going to ATX for 4 days at the beginning of November and brakeless there isn't going to cut it for me, I like living too much. Plus I'm going to ride the ms150 on this baby so I'll consider it a future investment towards that

SRAM S500 or Cane Creek SCR-5. Everything else sucks right meow.
|
could those SRAMs really be worth 2x the price? any caliper recs?
|
Well i had been missing out on my yearly trip up to the city, so i contacted a sqrl i know up there and I booked the trip. Yay!
I wonder if i'll see the mash crowd pulling mad skidz on their way down to Philz for a cup of coffee and a splif. |

I've heard mixed things about the quality...
mine MW vandal has broken 3 times in four places (buckles/zippers) granted, its got over 10k miles on it, and they fix it for free, forever (or until they go out of business) |

what do those miles entail that would have buckles and zippers breaking

the s500s should feel just like your force levers, so there's that. splurging on contact points is worth it

anyway, lol, that's what i was gonna say...how can miles be put on a bag? I would think it would be more of a function of how much the zippers are used. I mean ****, I have a mouintainsmith backpack that i have used for 8 years constantly and the zippers have never broken, and I've put that bag through hell. Don't know how many miles i walked or rode with it though. |

Today I commuted on my MTB for a change and proceeded to ride it into the ground. Jump all the curbs, avoid all paved surfaces!

Today I got bored and tried to go as fast as I could on my trainer.
Cycling computer said I hit 46.4 and I'm running 45/16 so my cadence was 210. I dont trust it though http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b2...31/bike122.gif haha |

Today I'm beginning than refinishing process on this:
http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=279065 Nice little alley find. We need a new entertainment center, so that's what this will be. Solid wood, no particle board or anything here. It's a little beat up, and the doors are trashed, but I'll make it beautiful. |
Hey for free if there's no roach eggs in it , it's a win in my book

Today I discovered that not only did I cut down my front tire, I also cut down the rear tire on the 930...
