I'm still driving around in the same pontiac I've owned since 2000 and I'll be driving it until the wheels fall off.

Huh? What'd you do to qualify for that (I'm asian by the way)?
i'm not super into cars... but rather than spend a lot of money on a car i kind of want, i'd rather spend a little extra on a car i really want, especially if i'm going to be driving it daily for 5-10+ years. my old car was halfway through its useful life and had some problems we didn't want to deal with so i just sold it. it wasn't a lemon but it really wasn't one of the better Toyotas we've ever bought. |
I hear you, I'm similar. Once I get interested in something, I'll do a ton of research and go for quality stuff.
I hope, really, really hope, I never get interested in something as expensive as cars or like home theater and stuff like that. |

our boss asked her how to spell the word potential. apparently she asks her how to spell words all the time thats just pathetic. woman is in her 40s with a teenage daughter, great example youre setting there. |
Seriously. That's pretty sad.

Don't buy cheap Ebay longboards, got one and the bolt holes were all jacked so I had to get a refund after dealing with ebay. Anyway, since it can't be used I figured I would draw on it and see what happens, this is what happened:
http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=295019 used a sharpie and a gold paint marker |
That's pretty good.

Today I sold my fuji track bike, I no longer belong here :-(
But I will stay because ssfg is of the better part of bikeforums, and I'm sure I won't be able to not build another fg |

I just bought this to see how bad eBay boards really were (it was $35 shipped). This was pretty bad, the front holes were crooked so the front truck sat angled. I usually ride Churchill Manufacturing boards, I actually just ordered a new commuter board today (Churchill LTD)

Why not a bustin? They're cheap enough. FWIW there's plenty of kiddies around here commuting on loaded.
Also for the "today I": Took a vacation day and I'm headed to Mountain Creek to snowboard tomorrow. My 3rd time snowboarding, I need to get turning down, it is my nemesis. |

Love my mini maestro! Not really into the longboarding thing though, just use it as a cruiser. |
I used to party with a few people who worked at creek, I'm not a snow person, I did ride a vintage road bike Down a mountain in the poco is before, on a grass ski slope in the summer, I had grass stains on my skin

Today I scrolled past a bunch of posts about long boards.

also be careful cuz the mods hate that ****. Also also, I am stuck in my office doing classwork. HOMEWORK DAY SUCKS. |
Looking forward to some bike time tomorrow. I've been out of town for work end of last week and beginning of this one. Times like this make me realize how much my bike commute keeps me sane. I feel so much better arriving at the office after the ride, and the ride home helps me to (mostly) forget about nonsense that happened at work. Taking the trains makes me sad, although Osaka trains are definitely better than Tokyo trains.

What'd I miss?
Edit: Ah. Bull**** and drama. Cool. Yeah, Chicago be full of drama playa. |
Also forgot that pawls on the freewheel started to freeze a couple miles in, had to actively start coasting to keep it moving
Who knew? |
Today I turned 40 and I'm still trying to get my head around that. With that said, I'm heading out for a ride.
|
Happy birthday, bud!
