Also, just for aesthetics, I am getting a silver seatpost and silver stem. What else should I do? Oh and yes, I do have a brake...just not pictured. Also, still tinkering with my setup which is why I haven't cut the steerer tube down. Adjust-ability is always nice

The Affinity fork....

Scrodzilla 05-08-11 08:39 AM

That wheel looks so terribly bad on that bike. The fork is way too thin to have such a chunky wheel hanging from it.

+1

wait.. like a piano keyboard right? not like one im typing on?

wphamilton 05-08-11 11:43 AM

The wheel covering could be very light plastic, in which case the added weight is trivial with regards to the bike's structural strength. An educated guess at the overall reduction in drag could be as much as 2% with the wheel.

If the air friction is less the stress on the forks should be less, not more, than with a more conventional wheel. On the downside I'd be worried more about the impact on handling.

I'd say so judging by the rest of the stuff he's willing to take for it

Hey thats my post!

Not for trade, only for trade!

I swear I tried to edit it but CL is being weird about editing.

For those of you that don't know, it is the 1st generation specialized trispoke and yes it is heavier than the current hed3 that took over the design. I personally spoke to a r and d representative from hed for more details and he claims it is very durable in comparison to the hed3 version but the downfall is that is a bit heavier. In regards to functionality, it is an excellent training wheel in low winds. I managed to shave off some average time off my normal training route in comparison to my previous spin wheel. However, wind crosswinds are present, it does suck! I'm ready to build a spoked front wheel.

I'm only trading for music gear- high end keyboards and vintage keys. I've been getting offers for cheap casio keyboards which I am not interested in.

MS10 for the whole bike

liberalswine 05-11-11 02:42 PM

very tempting for a nice piece! Deciding currently between a korg m1 and a custom hammond m3 suitcase organ. Seeing if anything else pops up. Really hoping for a fender rhodes or a triton

jdgesus 05-11-11 03:04 PM

triton?!
: puke smiley : :)

(ps, your bike wouldn't even fit me)
