Wheelset recommendations
 

Hey, i am building a cheap commuter bike. its an old peugeot that i found thrown out behind a dumpster in an alley. it needs new wheels and i was just looking for some cheap, decent wheels. i have been taking a look at the Vuelta zerolites and eighthinch amelias. i was wondering which ones you would recommend. i dont know much about either of them, but i was leaning towards the vueltas. thanks a lot.

(i've heard amelias aren't that bad though)

i would search craigslist or ebay and try to find a cheap stock wheelset like alex r450 or something like that. there are tons of people upgrading their wheelsets and need to get rid of their stock wheels.

Or if you're just looking for something cheap, search craigslist for a deal on a fixed gear wheelset. Can't really go wrong if you get a good true set for $50-75.
