mr. ben lynch, blast! express rockstar, is putting together a fixie ride for whoever wants to. meet at casino el camino around five or so, leave at six. he knows the route and i do not, but i can tell you we'll be passing by maudi's on south lamar. another messenger is retiring from his bartending gig there, and we'll be stopping by for some goodbye shots.

awesome. i honestly don't think ben is planning an all out pub crawl either, just those two stops? he said something about some hills which i'm sure you'll kill everyone else on. seriously, staying on your wheel up 15th st last week hurt me.

Dude, you know who dominates? That guy who rides the chrome pista that works at Ozone. He doesn't even get out of the saddle for most hills. He was consistantly leading our pack for last Thursday's alleycat.

Unfortunately, I couldn't get a hold of him for today's ride.

i can't decide which was the worse idea: a pre-ride buffalo burger from casino, or bombing the pitch black west lake hills with no brakes. ben's route planning skills need a little work.
