Cannondale CAAD4, crazy idea?
First post, I am looking for an upgrade to my over used Schwinn Racer single speed bicycle.
How does this Cannondale build from CL look based on the owners current build? http://orlando.craigslist.org/bik/2380397672.html If converting it is a crazy idea than I am fine with that, but I wouldn't mind a lighter single speed bike. Thanks, -Mora |
To put it simply...no
That bike is a tri bike...not one to be converted |
obvious bikeforums answers:
keep it as a road bike. buy a kilo tt. close thread. |
I wouldn't go that route. There's better new offerings that will be lighter that are already a SS/FG around the same or less.
|
lol a grand for that?
someone brought in an old cannondale to get converted. i don't speak for anyone but myself, but what an unfortunate bicycle |
It seems really big
|
I suppose anything can be converted, but that's one I wouldn't touch. Unless you plan on doing FG/SS triathlons...
That bike may be very aero, but probably isn't the lightest. It won't be good at all for everyday riding. |
might be worth the trade if you got a remington 700 LSS just laying about
