Cannondale CAAD4, crazy idea?

First post, I am looking for an upgrade to my over used Schwinn Racer single speed bicycle.

How does this Cannondale build from CL look based on the owners current build?

If converting it is a crazy idea than I am fine with that, but I wouldn't mind a lighter single speed bike.

Thanks,

-Mora

To put it simply...no
That bike is a tri bike...not one to be converted

obvious bikeforums answers:

keep it as a road bike.
buy a kilo tt.

close thread.

I wouldn't go that route. There's better new offerings that will be lighter that are already a SS/FG around the same or less.

lol a grand for that?

someone brought in an old cannondale to get converted. i don't speak for anyone but myself, but what an unfortunate bicycle

It seems really big

I suppose anything can be converted, but that's one I wouldn't touch. Unless you plan on doing FG/SS triathlons...

That bike may be very aero, but probably isn't the lightest. It won't be good at all for everyday riding.

might be worth the trade if you got a remington 700 LSS just laying about
