Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? shallow drop handlebars

Can anyone make out what bars these are, or something very close? Maybe the On One Midge?

The midges are off road drop bars, the drops are shallow and flared, designed to be ridding in the drops and not on the hoods. Origin8 makes a version that are closely compared to them and make them in both 25.4mm and 31.8mm.

Ragley makes the next gen of the midges, called the Luxy. https://www.chainreactioncycles.com/M...?ModelID=54259

I have these bars on my Rush and love them- didn't really know how I would react when I first got them but I am quick to my brakes and find that climbing is much easier for me personally with them, overall they changed how I ride slightly but I think I am a much better rider since getting them. I tore a ligament in my leg but when it is healed I plan on flipping my hub and can't wait to see how skid stopping will be with these bars- gotta think I could skid stop with these without hands pretty reliably with practice.
